Fresh Air in the Car? With the Mi Car Air Purifier Any Trip Is More Pleasant!

Air is something life on our planet is impossible without. Sometimes a big city and industry development destroy all the dreams of being able to breathe fresh air. Especially, when we drive home or to work in personal transport. A lot of cars around make you feel like there is not enough air in the lungs. Sounds familiar?

Xiaomi has released an air purifier Mi Car Air Purifier, which replenished its “smart home” ecosystem. Home air purifiers have become so popular that some of the users started carrying them in public transport. Given the current pollution problems, the company decided to release the air purifier for the car under the MiJia brand. And for those who travel most of the time in public transport, the company also released special MiJia Air Wear Anti-Fog And Haze Mask.

Mi Car Air Purifier is quite compact and can easily fit in the car. It measures 112 × 112 × 380mm and weighs only 1.5kg.

The rear seat headrests are perfect to place the MiJia Car Air Purifier, as they have special belts that will allow it to be conveniently secured. According to the manufacturer, this is the place from which the air purifier can provide air ventilation more effectively.

Inside the device, a filter H11 from Toray is installed, which is used in various laboratories, where the requirements for hygienic standards are very strict. Filter replacement should not take more than 10 seconds as Xiaomi claims.

This gadget is able to cope with fine dust and drops of liquid, pet hair and even eliminate an unpleasant odor.

Mi Car Air Purifier has a high rate of CADR (Clean Air Delivery Rate), which means that the speed of air purification is around 60 m3 per hour. That is possible due to the engine system from the Japanese company NSK and the electronics company Melexis. What is more important, the noise level during the operation of the device is 42dB. This is the optimal, so you should not worry that the MiJia Car Air Purifier will make a lot of noise.

This car air purifier can clean and refresh air in a conventional car in 3 minutes and in a minibus in approximately 7 minutes.

In addition, it features reliable fastening belts and is made of impact-resistant material.

The purifier can be managed through the Mi Home application, where you can set up not only the speed of air purification,  but also push notifications to know when to replace the filter. The device does not have a built-in battery, so it draws power from your car.
