Redmi Pro - the Flagship Smartphone in Xiaomi Redmi Lineup

Today the Chinese company Xiaomi has unveiled a new smartphone from Redmi lineup —the flagship Redmi Pro. Why is it considered the flagship — read below in our article.

The screen size of Redmi Pro is 5.5 inches, it has the OLED matrix. Xiaomi is proud of the fact that this smartphone has the most contrast screen among all existing Mi devices. The color scheme is 100% NTSC, the contrast ratio — 60000 : 1, the screen is covered with the protective 2.5D glass. The housing is traditionally made of metal; there is a choice of three colors — gold, gray and silver.

Specifications

There were presented three versions of the smartphone: standard, high and maximum.

The standard version of Redmi Pro is based on the 10-core processor Helio X20 from MediaTek. The amount of RAM in the novelty is 3GB, and the flash memory is as much as 32GB. In this smartphone, Xiaomi decided to abandon the use of 16GB memory chip and please the users with double storage capacity. Responsible for the graphics is the Mali-T880 core.

The high edition of Redmi Pro runs on the 2016 model year 10-core chipset Helio X25 from MediaTek, it t\has got 3GB RAM and 64GB of flash memory.

And finally, the maximum version of Redmi Pro has 4GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash memory, like the Mi 5.

The capacity of the built-in battery in Redmi Pro is 4000 mAh.

Cameras

The smartphone has a main camera, which consists of two sensors: 13 MP and 5 MP, and the Sony IMX 258 module. As explained by Xiaomi, the dual camera is needed to create a blur effect on the photos, as well as for rapid refocusing on the desired area. Also, there is a 5 MP front camera module.

Interfaces

The main feature of Xiaomi Redmi Pro is a universal bilateral port for charging and syncing — USB Type-C. In addition, the device has Bluetooth, WiFi and GPS modules.
