Rumors Confirmed: Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X Gets Snapdragon 625

Not a week passes by without any kind of upgrade for any kind of Xiaomi gadgets. Yesterday the company finally unveiled the sequel for Redmi Note 4 — the one that was brought to India with a Snapdragon 625 on board and stole the show in China with Helio X20. The newcomer Redmi Note 4X is slightly ahead and has some interesting tricks up its sleeve.

Snapdragon 625 earned itself a good reputation under the hood of Redmi Note 4. The X version adopted the same SoC, which predicts smooth performance. Some of the other features that made their way from Redmi Note 4 are — 5.5-inch diagonal screen with 1920×1080 resolution, 13 MP rear camera and 5 MP front snapper, a towering battery 4100 mAh and MIUI 8 interface.

Redmi Note 4X will be offered with a few modification storage-wise. The most expensive model will have 4 GB RAM and 64 GB flash-memory. If that is not enough Redmi Note 4X has room for a microSD card.

Another interesting change is on the outside. To add some oomph Xiaomi came up with two more color options for the housing. Outside of black, gray and gold, featured in Redmi Note 4, 4X also gets pink and turquoise. The latter will be a part of Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X Limited Edition campaign, created to celebrate the Valentine’s Day. An exclusive version of 4X will be shipped besides a protective case and a portable charger, both bearing an image of a Japanese hologram singer Miku Hatsune, who served an inspiration for the theme.
