Xiaomi Has Launched Redmi Note 7 With 48MP Camera

Today was presented the new Xiaomi phone, referring to Redmi model line, that has become a Xiaomi Sub-brand. The new sub-brand has got the logo, made in a gradient design.

At the press-conference Xiaomi’s CEO, Lei Jun announced that cumulative sales of Redmi series smartphones achieved 278 million units.

And now let's talk about the new model, that debuted today.

The impressive thing about this model is its 48MP+5MP AI dual camera! For some fans, it was not a surprise, because of some spoilers, shared by the company executives.

Compared to the mainstream 12MP sensor the power of camera was multiplied by 4 times.

The manufacturer says that high resolution will allow you to take shots using zoom and the image will be clear. Moreover, you will be able to print your photo like a big poster without quality loss.

Here is an example how the zoom work. As you can see the text on the image is visible even with the use of zoom.

Also, the model has got a Super night scene mode, like the Mi MIX 3.

Talking about performance, the model uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor that promises fast and smooth work.

The model can boast with 4000mAh battery and Quick Charge 4 support. According to the tests stand-by mode work can reach 10,5 days.

Redmi Note 7 is equipped with USB Type-C interface and supports 14 types of equipment and more than 4000 brands for IR remote control.

The newcomer has got the "waterdrop" notch, the screen size is 6.3”.

The model will be available in three color variations (pink, dream blue and matte black).

Also, it is worth noting that the new Redmi logo is placed to the rear panel. In addition to this the model features the improvement of corners, the helped to enhance the strength. The display is covered by Corning Gorilla Glass (Fifth generation)

The sales of Redmi Note 7 are expected on 15th of January and the price tag starts from 999 yuan (about 150$)
