We used an energy efficient chip of new generation Ambarella H2, a Sony IMX377 matrix and a 7-layer glass lens to provide you the ability to shoot video in the 4K format at 60 fps. Just imagine a fourfold 1080p quality — this is the 4K format, and now it’s available for you.

A new high-performance and energy-saving the newest Ambarella H2 SOC is the heart of Yi 4K. To create the camera which is so powerful and compact at the same time, we have used a cutting-edge 14 nm CMOS technology. The H2 SoC model is more suitable for high-end cameras with support for 4K Ultra HD H.265 / HEVC video with a frame rate of 60 fps and 4K. The advantages of H2 include 10-bit data representation, which provides a wide dynamic range (HDR).

Higher speed and reduced energy costs became possible through the use of quad-core ARM^®Cortex^®-A53 64-bit processor and a high-performance DSP. Н.264 ВР / МР / НР encoding delivers a high-quality video recording at a lower bitrate, increasing the allowable recording time, even if you shoot in 4K / 60fps.
