Tried the novice guide. No problem with the manual mode, but when I tried to do the auto part the walkingpad won't start.

I have just received my Xiaomi WalkingPad after ordering it through GearBest. It took 43 days to arrive in the UK so I was pleased to see it at last. The packaging was in excellent condition and it was quick to get set up. Unfortunately the instruction manual is written in Chinese Mandarin only! I can get the machine going using the manual setting with the remote control but cannot get the speed to go above 3 km max. Can anyone tell me what to do? I have a smart phone so do I need to download an App and/or scan the barcode onto my phone? Any help would be most welcome so I can walk at 5.0 or 6.0 km/hour. Thanks.

I bought this and used the Walking Pad app to set it up. It said 2.5 mph released max speed at the time. But when I closed the walking pad and tried it again the next day, it will only allow 1.75 mph max speed. I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled it 2x now, and still it will not release past 1.75 mph. How do you unlock the speed? It claims to go to a max of 3.5 mph and yet I have not been able to make it do so yet after multiple attempts. Please help!
