Black Shark 2: Brief Review Of The Gaming Monster

We have already known that the new Black Shark gaming smartphone is expected to be released. Finally, here it is — Black Shark 2.

At first sight, it looks like a silver bar. Nevertheless, what is hidden in this “gaming monster”? Moreover, is it a real “monster”?

The back cover is made of glass and metal, like its predecessors. The RGB light logo is placed in the center of the rear panel and the borders have RGB lights, which can be customized.

There are two colors available — Shadow Black and Frozen Silver.

The model features a 6.39 FHD+ AMOLED display. Black Shark specialists decided not to follow the modern design trends like “notch” and “waterdrop notch” displays. It uses the classic design with small borders on the top and on the bottom.

The display uses a special TrueView Display technology. The image processing chip adjusts the display parameters according to the viewing content and lighting.

The model can boast with double stereo speakers, which support custom algorithms.

In order to provide cool gaming experience, the model has 3D Magic Press Technology Support. The system analyses the strength of finger pressure and makes the gaming process simpler and convenient.

In terms of hardware, as expected, the model features a Snapdragon 855 processor with core frequency up to 2.8GHz. There are three configurations available: 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB and the top one 12GB/256GB.

Black Shark 2 is equipped with a 4000mAh battery and supports 27W fast charging. The manufacturer claims the charge can reach 60% in 30 minutes.

The major upgrade was made in terms of the heat dissipation. The third version of Liquid Cool system can reduce heat for more than 5 degrees.

The model features “X+2” antenna design: cross-type antenna in combination with added antennas on the left and right frames.

What about the camera?

Black Shark 2 also has a double flagship camera (48MP+13MP). The front camera features a 20MP sensor.

So, Black Shark 2 is a good smartphone with flagship characteristics. If you are the gamer geek and you feel irritated playing games on minimal settings — this device is what you really need.
