I really hope this will have capability for GSM. Like those GSM alarm system. The thing is, our wifi is not that reliable. And 4g requires you to have pay for data. I have a GSM alarm system but the build quality is not good. Almost all GSM alarm systems I saw has poor build quality. But Xiaomi is different. I had a MI camera and the quality is really good. I hope you will release a GSM capable system soon.

Tony Ratcliffe 27 Nov 2018I was given this as a present butccannot fathom out what it is meant to do. The info that comes with it is in chinese and it says something in chinese when it is plugged in but other than that I'm stumped. I once managed to connect to it using the Mi app but still couldn't work it out.

Ole 02 Jun 2018Just bought this together with some white Aqara branded magic cubes and some pink Mi branded magic cubes. Enabled the 3rd party Wireless communication protocol for the Gateway, but the Aqara cubes does not send any data other than battery info on that protocol. The Mi branded cubes works fine. This is clearly an Firmware issue in the Gateway. Both cubes works fine in Mi Home.
Christian D. 04 Mar 2017It works fine with new Version of the MI Home App. Check for Updates also for your Device. And choose China Mainland. I hope we can get it with EU Plug next time...so -1 Star.
Crysty 12 Feb 2017Very nice device. I am using with 5 temperature / humidity sensors, door lock sensor, motion detection sensor. I'm happy with it, but I am waiting for other sensors: smoke, gas and CO. It need more development for Europe region (is working with mainland China settings, but with some Chinese dialogs).
